The use of corrugated aluminium panels and steel window frames gives the houses a striking, quasi-industrial look. The squat shape of the entrance hall, which extends up to the first floor,
contradicts the image of an ordinary row house and gives each unit individuality and privacy. The housing is in principle suited to occupation by families at various stages of life.
